It’s a touch of sexiness in a socially distanced year.
Rihanna invites her friends over for a lingerie commercial in “Savage x Fenty Vol. 2,” premiering Friday on Amazon Prime. It features musical performances (Travis Scott, Bad Bunny and Rosalia), catwalk surprises and some serious skin-baring moments.
Cara Delevingne shimmies onstage in a sequin bra and matching briefs while layered chains swing from her hips. Bella Hadid and Demi Moore (yes, Demi Moore) — both clad in barely-there underthings — cup their curves as pods of scantily-clad dancers writhe around them, orgy-style.
Laura Harrier struts around in a bridal-inspired bra and garter belt (complete with a white veil), while Lizzo does some booty-shaking in a sheer, bright-blue look. Dressed in a lace, hot-pink bodysuit, Paris Hilton looks practically demure in a sea of lingerie-clad dancers while Irina Shayk slithers out of a silky bathrobe somewhere nearby.
A high point includes Rihanna dressed in shimmery lingerie, emerging from a larger-than-life sea of flower petals. As she gracefully parades around a botanical garden complete with fleurs, fronds, and nipple-pastie-clad dancers poetically shifting shapes in her imagined garden come to life, you come to realize that this is just another day in life of Queen Riri’s otherworldy, decadently sinful delights.
In the end, it’s all a slick advertisement for Rihanna’s lingerie line, Savage X Fenty, but you won’t mind what they’re selling.
