Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman Outfit Already Has Us Super Excited For the New Batman Movie
What is it about Zoë Kravitz wearing a great leather coat that makes us rethink our whole closet? We got our first glimpse of the actress as Catwoman in The Batman trailer, and we got to see what her alter ego, Selina Kyle, dresses like. On Oct. 12, Kravitz was spotted filming in the UK, dressed head to toe in black leather and accompanied by John Turturro as mobster Carmine Falcone.
If you remember, Zoë wore a vintage-inspired leather coat when she played Rob on Hulu’s High Fidelity. (Side note: still can’t believe that show got canceled after one season!) This version is sleeker than the one she wore on the show, and she styled the shiny coat with a matching black hat that had a bow on the top and wore a pair of lace-up patent leather boots as well. Costume designer Jacqueline Durran is in charge of the outfits, and she has previously worked on movies like Little Women, 1917, and Anna Karenina.
