You know what it means when the air starts to get chilly in the morning and the first leaves start to hit the ground — ’tis the season for everything pumpkin spice. We’ve been patiently — and not-so-patiently — waiting for our favorite seasonal treats to return to stores, and if you’re like us, that means obessing over the ultimate question: “When is Costco’s pumpkin pie coming back?” Well, thanks to Instagram, we now know the answer, and it comes with a bit of extra good news for Costco members.

This fall delicacy from Costco is famous not only for its impeccable flavor but for its massive size. It’s hard to tell from the video but these pies weigh in at a whopping four pounds! And for those wondering how much Costco’s pumpkin pie costs, we have a real treat: the pies, always an affordable $6.99, somehow dropped in price in 2022. Each pie costs just $5.99. Leave it to Costco to somehow figure out how to lower their prices in the midst of some of the worst inflation we’ve seen in decades.

While some people might say it’s too early in the season for a pumpkin spice latte (isn’t that why they invented iced lattes?), and that you can’t have pumpkin pie until Thanksgiving, we completely disagree. Heck, we’re totally cool with you eating a slice of pumpkin pie for breakfast tomorrow if you want. It’s a vegetable, right? Sort of? Well, it pairs perfectly with coffee, and that’s all that really matters.

Did we mention that all of Costco’s pumpkin pies are baked on site, so they really are as fresh as homemade? That makes this a pretty unbeatable deal, and our takeaway is simply this: Get thee to a Costco ASAP before they sell out!
