A man is determined to turn himself into a “black alien” – no matter the costs.
Anthony Loffredo has braved grisly body modifications in a bid to turn himself into an extra-terrestrial being. He's covered his skin in blackout tattoos, got reptilian implants and scarred his face.
But the 34-year-old's most extreme procedures include chopping off his body parts. In recent months he's had his ears, nose and top lip removed.

And now, Anthony revealed he wants to give himself claws by removing another finger. On Instagram, he shared a "prototype" of what his hand would look like after the op.
More than 83,000 people liked the post supporting the Frenchman's journey – but some think he's taking things way too far. One responder wrote: “There’s going to be nothing left by the time you are at 100%.”
Another said: “Please don’t, I love body mods but cutting off functional body parts is not good.” A third wrote: “Dude. You need your fingers. Shake my head.”
And a fourth added: "It's an obsession, he'll keep getting amputated. He'll never be satisfied because he'll always be human."
Anthony is unlikely to let this criticism hold him back. While his gruesome procedures spark fear in most, going under the knife doesn't faze him.
Recently he had a face reconstruction done in Madrid, Spain, where he's currently based. And back in June, he shared his plans to have a leg amputation to become more robotic.
Anthony also risked tongue-splitting, which involves cutting the muscular organ in two with a scalpel. As well as this, he braved getting his eyeballs tattooed even though the inkings can leave you blind.
To achieve an extra-terrestrial appearance, Anthony’s also had dermal implants done. This involves placing reptilian-like implants under the skin to give it a bumpier texture.
Anthony says he used to be a "very sexy guy" – but felt he had to transform himself because it was "not [his] real body".
He says he has no problem attracting members of the opposite sex – and spoke to French newspaper Midi Libre about his transformation back in 2017.
In quotes translated by Sinister Isles, he said: “From a very young age, I have been passionate about mutations and transformations of the human body.
“I had a click when I was a security guard. I realised that I was not living my life the way I wanted. I stopped everything at 24 and left for Australia.”
