Dad left without eyebrows as daughter, 5, ‘helps’ him rip off facemask

This is the hilarious moment a man was left with no eyebrows after letting his little daughter rip off his facemask.

John Meechan took drastic action when partner Tracy Dougall refused to have fun by applying the paste.

He decided do it himself – and to rope in five-year-old daughter Paige to rip it off for him.

Poor John wishes he didn't bother at all after Tracy eventually was convinced to help them get it off his face.

The hapless dad, 30, slapped the mask all over his eyebrows and lips without realising how sticky it was.

The Daily Record spoke to him after it went badly wrong.

He said: "I asked Tracy to put one on and she said no so I thought, fine, I'll do it myself.

"She said everywhere except your eyes, so I put it everywhere except my eyes. How was I to know you weren't meant to put it on your eyebrows and lips?"

As John began trying to peel the mask off, Tracy began filming the hilarious scenes before Paige joins in to help.

The scaffolder can be heard yelping in pain as Tracy peels the first bit from one of his eyebrows.

Barely able to speak through her hysterical laughter she tells him: "It's actually waxing them I swear to God."

He responds saying "I better have eyebrows."

Tracy then asks him: "It's on your eyelid, why would you do that?"

As Paige prepares to rip some of the mask from his top lip she warns him: "This is going to hurt dad," before laughing hysterically as he cries out in pain.

John finally says: "You're going to rip my lip off. there must be a better way of taking this off? I'm in so much pain.

"I need a fag break and I don't even f*****g smoke."

Tracy can be head laughing hysterically before telling him he has no eyebrow left on one side.

The hilarious scenes are so funny that Paige suggests waking up her sleeping sister Leah, nine, so she can join in the fun.

John says he finally managed to get the mask off completely but not before losing most of his eyebrows.

He added: "I the end I had to wash the rest of with roasting hot water and nearly scalded myself.

"There's a few hairs still left but not many. If this is what women have to go through to be beautiful, then I'll stick with being ugly."
