Get your Friends nostalgia fix for less in the Central Perk cafe in Primark — plus win £50k in The Sun Raffle – The Sun

FRIENDS fans should head to the new cafe at Primark’s Manchester store, which is themed on the US show.

It even has the real sofa from the Central Perk coffee shop set.

I managed to get an early look at the cafe yesterday and it has made me come over all nostalgic.

Missing a classic TV show or sweet treat? Here’s where to get your fix for less…

  1. Don't mug your wallet off: At the Primark store, you can get Central Perk mugs for £5, a snip compared with £9.99 for merch sold at Grindstore.com. While you’re there, pick up a photo frame (just like the one on Monica’s purple door) for £5 — far cheaper than the official version, £12.99. Want to see what else they have? Watch my video tour at facebook.com/sunsavers. SAVING: at least £4.99
  2. Dream bars: Still dreaming about your favourite white chocolate bars after all these years? They still exist in South Africa and you can get them shipped to the UK — but they are not cheap. A 200g bar will set you back £5.45 — with postage at a minimum of £3.39 too. But, while you’re not going to get a discounted Dream bar anytime soon, Aldi’s Choceur Smooth White Chocolate has rave reviews, tastes near identical and at £1.49 for 200g, what’s not to like? SAVING: £7.35
  3. Boom bargain: Remember those epic boomboxes of the Eighties and Nineties? Now you can now roll back the years on the cheap thanks to Aldi. The store is selling a retro boombox cassette player for £29.99. As well as the cassette space, there are USB and SD card ports, so you don’t need to worry about just having to listen to old music. Similar style music players cost £215 at Not On The High Street. SAVING: £185.01
  4. Summer lovin': If you have fond memories of desserts such as Arctic Rolls, you need to head down to Iceland. The frozen food store is selling a 250g Arctic Roll for just £1, plus other cheap retro frozen puds — cheaper than those sold at Sainsbury’s for £1.25. Plus, Iceland also has Raspberry screwballs, £1 for a pack of six. SAVING: 25p
