Jessie James Decker jokes about husband’s ‘fake abs’ amid kids’ backlash

Jessie James Decker showed she still has a sense of humor after trolls accused her of Photoshopping abs on her children’s bodies.

The singer, 34, took to Instagram Stories on Wednesday to show off her husband, Eric Decker’s abs as he wore nothing but sweatpants and a Santa hat.

“Santa says drink your milk,” she wrote before adding, “These are fake abs.”

Jessie showed off her husband’s abs after she was forced to defend the parenting choices that have led their children — Vivianne, 8, Eric Jr., 7, and Forrest, 4 — to develop ripped physiques at such a young age.

“We preach about body positivity and acceptance but my kids having a mass amount of genetic and built muscle from athletics is ‘weird’?” she wrote in an Instagram post after her kids showing off their abs by the pool garnered her negative attention.

Jessie further emphasized that she wants her kids to “feel proud of their bodies” and continue enjoying their athletic passions.

“Let’s not pick and choose what we normalize regarding bodies and be accepting of all people and children,” she continued. “If we wanna do ‘better’ then do better. I’m proud of my children and encourage them to live their dreams.”

The musician demanded fans not shame her children’s bodies simply because they have a higher muscle mass than most.
