A Tardis-like one-bedroom home, thought to be one of the narrowest in the country, is up for grabs for £300,000.

The extremely thin house, located on Nine Tree Hill in Cotham, Bristol, has caught the attention of eagle-eyed home-hunters, with one on Reddit asking is this the ‘smallest home in Bristol?’

At its narrowest point the triangular shaped home, called The Old Brewery, measures 7ft11″ wide at its narrowest point, and 11ft5″ at its widest point.

The property is in pristine condition, kitted out with a mixture of open brick walls and bright white walls.

The house spreads over three different floors and despite its small appearance has all the elements of larger homes on the market.

After walking through the front door, you walk into an entrance hall that takes up the front half of the ground floor, with three separate storage spaces, large enough to store multiple bikes.

On the stairs up to the second floor, there is a exposed brick wall with an inbuilt bookshelf.

On the second floor, the main living space has an open plan living room and kitchen, which are both bright and airy.

The kitchen design makes the most of the area available with plenty of storage space for pots and pans – there’s even a mini breakfast bar.

On the third floor, there is the bathroom and the one bedroom. For such a narrow house, the bathroom is relatively large, with a bath tub and shower, and another exposed brick wall.

Considering the house size, a lot of lights still manages to enter the building through a massive window. considering the house size and allows for a lot of light to enter the room through the massive window.

While the price might seem like a lot for a one-bed house of that size, people on Reddit were loving what it had to offer.

One commenter said: ‘Say what you want about the price, but that’s just really good architecture. The use of space is fantastic.’

Another wrote: ‘For a one-bed house I think the sizes are great. The bedroom is bigger than any bedroom in my house and the lounge is much bigger than mine too. It has character and great views.

‘If it wasn’t for that fact that it’s a one bed I’d be tempted.’

While a third penned: ‘It’s got much better storage than most flats at a similar cost.

‘Three x decent cupboard rooms downstairs. Enough room for two x bikes on the walls in one of them, that’s better than in my two-bedroom house.’
