Is anyone else as obsessed with Mrs Hinch ’s Instagram Stories as we are? The very fact that she manages to tick off a whole list of cleaning activities each day is fascinating – especially for those of us who barely manage to wash out a mug.
But recently Sophie, as she is officially called, took a break from her list to indulge in some me-time with a hair appointment – and her results are making us want to book in for our own.

“I’ve had lots of messages about having long hair again guys, so when I had my hair cut short I still had extensions in for thickness (my hair is naturally sooo fine) but my bonds needed to come out this month because they had grown out so much in lockdown,” the star wrote on the story.
“So I’ve had fresh colour and a fresh set put in and didn’t want to cut them short straight away. But I’ll go short again when my extensions are due to be changed, I like to mix it up.”

The exact brand of extensions Mrs Hinch uses is Beauty Works , and it’s likely she bought the pre-bonded Celebrity Choice Flat Tips, from £88 here . The hair can come in a length of 18, 20 or 24 inch – and it seems the star has opted for the lengthiest version as the hair reaches down past her waist.
Like her other fans, you may have also spotted that her hair has been looking seriously lengthy in some of her latest new Stories. Usually the star goes for a thick, shoulder length style.
We compared this new £12 Primark hair curler to a £130 styling tool – with these surprising results
In the story, Mrs Hinch also tagged her “hairdresser friend” Emma, who she says has done both her hair colour and her styling “since primary school”.
We might actually take some inspo from Soph because by buying the hair yourself and finding either a mobile hair extension expert or a trained friend to apply them, you’ll actually save a lot of money on high salon costs.
This is why your scalp gets itchy in hot weather – and this clever £9 product could be the fix you need
It might be that Mrs Hinch has gone for a slighter longer style because of all the shoots and promo she’s doing for her new book, This is Me – which is set for release on October 1 but can be pre-ordered for £9.99 here.
Either that or, like the rest of us, she’s desperate for a post-lockdown makeover.
