Mum slammed for demanding stranger 'stopped watching films and played games with her seven-year-old son' during flight

A MUM was slammed for being "entitled" after demanding a stranger stopped watching a film and played games with her seven-year-old son during a flight.

The plane passenger was left stunned after being called a "spiteful b****" for refusing to play with the child.

Posting on Reddit, the passenger explained that she had already agreed to change seats with the family so their son could look out of the window, while flying from Budapest to London.

However, 20 minutes into the flight, the mum then demanded she turn off the PG15 film she was watching, after their kid tried to watch it over her shoulder.

She wrote: "I put my headphones in and began the movie but after about twenty minutes, the mother and child swapped seats so now the seven year old boy was sat next to me."

She was tapped on the shoulder and told to choose something "more appropriate for a child" or turn it off.

After refusing, the kid then asked if the woman had any games and the mum suggested she lend the boy her phone to play with as he was "bored".

She refused again, explaining that she was watching a film and the child's boredom wasn't her problem, causing the mum to call her a "spiteful b****."

At that point she snapped back, saying the mum should be "f****** grateful I swapped seats in the first place."

To finish off, she then said she sat in her aisle seat and blocked them from disembarking until every other passenger had got off the plane, to live up to "her petty nature".

Reddit users agreed with the passenger that the mum was out of line, with one calling her "entitled and disgusting".

Another person added: "If my parents saw me peeping at whatever was on a stranger's phone, I'd be the one getting a stern talking to, not the adult just minding their own business.

One person also said: "I would never EVER hand my phone to a stranger. That's f****** ridiculous that she would ask you to do that."

Last week, a mum hit back at a passenger on a flight after catching them texting about her “ill-behaved brats”.
