B&M slashes price of Brothers Cider and Carling in time for the bank holiday weekend

GET ready for the Bank Holiday weekend with B&M's discounted beer and cider.

The bargain store is holding a "Beer Festival" for the long weekend, slashing prices across selected alcoholic drinks.

The "festival" – which is basically a massive price cut on booze –  includes big savings on top brands such as Carling, Strongbow and Corona.

Prices start from just £1.15 for a 330ml bottle of Parma Violet or Strawberries & Cream Brothers cider and you can even get a 10 pack of Carling beer for £6.99.

We checked other supermarkets' offers and a Brothers cider will cost you £2 in Tesco and £2.30 in Morrisons.

The discount retailer have even brought back Brothers Parma Violet cider especially for the upcoming weekend.

The sweet-flavoured cider sold out in record time when the retailer first started selling the drink earlier this year.

Other drinks on offer is a crate of six Rhubarb & Custard ciders for just £5.99. which go perfectly with a sunny Bank Holiday weekend.

You can also pick up ten 440ml cans of Strongbow Cloudy Apple Cider for just £7.99.

Asda and Morrison's are both selling the ten pack for £10 but we found it in Sainsbury's for £7.50.

If you're snapping up the rest of the deals at B&M, it might be easier to do one big shop but if cloudy apple cider is your thing, Sainsbury's do it cheaper.

Still after more deals? Four 330ml bottles of Corona are just £3.99 compared to £5 in Tesco.

Available until Tuesday 18th June, make sure you stock up for any upcoming parties and barbecues.

Remember, it's always worth comparing prices before you hit the shops.
